Gruppo Humana is n. 2 in the Italian market for milks and dietary supplements for children, with sales of € 90 m. It was started in the 80’s as a joint venture between the German multinational DMK (one of the largest milk producers in Europe with sales of € 4 bn) and the Ardito family, who worked on launching the Humana brand and developing the Italian business.

DMK Baby GMbH is a German multinational, owned by DMK, specialized in milk and dietary supplements for children.

Cross Border assisted the Ardito family, as exclusive advisor, in the negotiations for selling the minority stakes in various legal entities of the Humana group, after two generations of involvement.
