Blue Engineering is an Italian company based in Turin, specialized in the design and engineering of high-speed trains, regional transport, intercity, subways and trams. Blue Engineering, with more than 100 engineers, is able to conduct advanced simulations for the design of wagons due to its internal know-how and specific software.

CRRC is the largest company in the production of trains worldwide and, through its subsidiary Tangshan Railways, has acquired the 65% of Blue Engineering. A further 10% and 5% have been acquired respectively by Cmc (Chinese manufacturer of infrastructures) and Genertech (technology company specialized in transferring investments from China to Italy ).

Thanks to this acquisition, CRRC intends to penetrate the European and American market carrying home the know how in engineering of high-speed trains.
